Universal zou een grote aankondiging maken voor de nieuwigheden dit jaar. Helaas geen nieuws over de vervanger van de Jaws attractie die begin deze maand is gesloten. Geruchten zeggen dat daar een Harry Potter deel zal komen, met een Hogwarts Express die je van het ene naar het andere park zal brengen. Niks over gehoord, maar wel wat andere nieuwtjes!

Super leuk, vorig jaar Harry Potter gezien is het zeker waard ben benieuwd wat er voor jaws in de plaats komt ik had gehoord iets met Jaws maar dan 3D of 4D.
En de nieuwe attractie van Despicable Me lijkt me ook leuk worden, misschien volgend jaar weer, en dan ook weer naar de Blue men group is ook zeer aan te raden(vorig jaar ook geweest) :appl:

Universal Orlando test een nieuw systeem om de wachtrijen te omzeilen. Het zou op termijn de Universal Express Pass moeten vervangen!
De gasten die het gebruiken maken een reservering met een elektronisch toestel ook wel de U Bot genoemd.
Als de reservering gemaakt is kan je na het aangegeven tijdstip de attractie bezoeken. Je kan je reservering altijd annuleren en een andere maken voor een andere attractie. Reserveringen kunnen van overal in het park gemaakt worden. 6 Mensen kunnen 1 apparaat delen maar ze moeten wel allemaal betalen voor het gebruik van het systeem. Het apparaat is waterdicht.

These and more nightmarish hellions inhabit every dark corner, foggy recess and shadowed path within the park. Unlike in years past, there are no boundaries. No safezones. No one escapes.
The force of horror starts with The Iniquitus. Rooted in evil, these are the patrons of death and are the ones who rose from the cemetery. The Iniquitus are those who summoned the Dark Legions to come and feast here.
The dark legions of horror that await are: Vampires – the blood-thirsty from all eras of time, Beasts – the legendary animal-like figures who prey on the unsuspecting, Warriors – a gang killed in a deadly war that has returned to seek revenge, Prisoners – these deceased chainsaw-wielding female inmates killed in a women’s prison fire are back… and angry, and Traditionals – the ghosts and goblins of Halloween past come together to feast.

Nieuwe attractie voor Universal Orlando: Transformers - The Ride 3D
De langverwachte attractie wordt voorzien voor de zomer 2013, en om dit klaar te krijgen werken ze vanaf nu 24u op 24 en 7dagen op 7. Dezelfde attractie vind men trouwens al terug in de Universal parken van Hollywood en Singapore.
De voorstelling van deze nieuwe attractie ging niet zomaar voorbij. Er werd een gigantische show gegeven op het meer van het Amerikaanse pretpark. De onderbreking van de decepticons kon gelukkig verijdeld worden door de autobots van Optimus Prime. Die was dan ook persoonlijk, samen met Bumblebee, aanwezig om hen te stoppen.
In de attractie wordt je onder leiding van Evac, een speciaal voor deze attractie gecreëerde autobot, in een transformer geplaatst. Daarna reis je door een wereld die zo uit de Michael Bay films zou kunnen geplukt zijn. Via echte en virtuele 3d omgevingen bevindt je jezelf in een strijd met Megatron, Starscream en nog wat slechterikken.
De attractie zal bijna identiek zijn aan zijn 2 andere broertjes, enkel de buitenkant wordt volledig verschilled.
Er waren al geregeld wat geruchten dat deze attractie er zou komen nadat het Soundstage 44 werd gesloopt. De technologie voor deze attractie kan je eigenlijk al bewonderen in een attractie van Island of Adventure. Namelijk in The amazing Adventures of Spiderman, waar je via ongeveer dezelfde wagentjes van 3d scherm naar 3d scherm wordt gereden door een virtuele wereld. Ook de Harry Potter attractie werkt zo, maar dan zonder 3d.

Echt een superleuke attractie! De Dance Party achteraf is ook leuk gedaan, en toen wij uit de attractie kwamen dansten er ook character minions mee.. Hilarisch !!

In de Potter studio's in het Engelse Hertfordshire wordt een 'minifilm' opgenomen die in drie Harry Potter-themaparken zal vertoond worden.
Helena Bonham Carter herneemt haar rol van de heks Bellatrix Lestrange voor het vervolg op 'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows - Part 2' van vorig jaar. Dat was de achtste en officieel ook laatste film in de reeks gebaseerd op de populaire boeken van J.K. Rowling.
De nieuwe film zal vertoond worden in het pretpark 'The Wizarding World of Harry Potter' in Florida en in twee in aanbouw zijnde 'Hogwarts'-pretparken: een in Californië en een in Japan. Die gaan respectievelijk in 2014 en 2016 open.

The new area will bring to life some of the experiences and places found in and around London in the Harry Potter books and films, offering brand-new adventures for fans and theme park guests from around the world.
