Frozen Show in Chaparral Theater

Na enkele testen in september, is het mogelijk dat Disneyland Paris, vanaf juni 2015, het Chaparral Theater zal gebruiken voor een nieuw spektakel rond Frozen.

Het volledige, Franstalige, artikel kan je hier lezen! Ik heb het alvast kort samengevat . De populaire tests, die op 6 en 7 september in Videopolis doorgingen, gaven de doorbraak voor Disneyland Paris om een nieuw spektakel op poten te zetten voor het zomerseizoen 2015. Hoogstwaarschijnlijk zal de show gewijd zijn aan "La Reine des Neiges" of "Frozen".



Ondertussen zijn er ook werkzaamheden bezig in het Chaparral Theater. De decors die gebruikt werden voor "Tarzan, la Rencontre" zijn grotendeels weggehaald, een deel van de scène is zelfs vernietigd.



Tot op vandaag is de inhoud van het toekomstige spektakel nog niet bekend. Wanneer er een gelijkaardige "Sing-Along" zou komen, zullen er binnenkort toch schermen tevoorschijn moeten komen in het theater. De "Sing-Along" zou dan in dezelfde stijl zijn als in Walt Disney World. Het principe van de geanimeerde Frozen Sing-Along Celebration is héél simpel: Anna en Elsa ontmoeten hun bezoeken en zingen de bekendste deuntjes uit de succesvolle film "Frozen".



Laten we hopen dat het toch op zijn minst een evenement wordt waar Anna en Elsa bij aanwezig zullen zijn, en dat ze geleerd hebben uit de testen in de Videopolis.

Dit weekend zijn er inderdaad meer tests van For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration. Deze keer wel met Anna en Elsa, maar helaas zijn het enkel de hosts die zingen en alles aan elkaar spreken. De characters hebben niets te zeggen...

Wie vandaag in het park is, kan het zelf meemaken om 15u30, 16u30, 18u30, 19u30 en 20u30.

Frozen Summer Fun in Disneyland Parijs van 1juni tot 13 september 2015!

Gisteren werd op de aandeelhoudersvergadering in Parijs bekend gemaakt dat er in de zomer van 2015 een Frozen seizoen komt in Disneyland Paris!



Er zal alvast een Frozen show komen in Chapparal Theater en Cottonwood Creek Ranch zal ook aangepast worden aan het nieuwe Frozen thema, hier zullen hoogst waarschijnlijk de meet en greets plaats vinden!

Er zal ook nieuwe merchandise te koop zijn en ook lekkernijen en aangepaste menu's in de restaurants!

En ook Olaf en Kristoff zouden te zien zijn tijdens dit nieuwe seizoen in Disneyland Paris!!!

It's official: From 1 June to 13 September 2015, Disneyland Paris will celebrate Frozen, the 5th highest-grossing film ever, premiered on 19 November 2013 and the biggest animated film of all time globally, taking over $1.2 billion at the box office. Winner of two Academy Awards®, five Annie Awards, two Critics' Choice Awards, a Golden Globe Award and a BAFTA, the movie tells the story of a fearless princess Anna who sets off on an epic journey with her companions Olaf and Sven to find her estranged sister Elsa, whose icy powers have inadvertently trapped the kingdom of Arundel in eternal winter.
The famous Disney sisters will be back with their adorable snowman Olaf to cool things down this summer.

After catching a sneak peak of them in the famous Disneyland Park Parade and meeting them to pose for pictures this Christmas, Disneyland Paris guests will be able to sing with them this summer! Anna and Elsa will appear on stage in winter scenery inspired by the film. They will offer guests the chance to join them in singing the best songs from the most successful Disney story of all time.
Olaf, their funny snowman who dreams of summer, will also be there on giant screens to help everyone to follow the lyrics.

Princess Anna and Queen Elsa will also star in “Disney Magic on Parade!” in which they appear every day on their frosted float.

* Het seizoen zal lopen van 1 juni tot 13 september.
* Er zal een sing-a-long show zijn in Chaparral Theatre waar Anna, Elsa, Olaf en Kristoff in te zien zullen zijn.
* Anna en Elsa zullen rond rijden in hun koets, op dezelfde wijze als vlak voor de kerstparade.
* Cottonwood Creek Ranch zal omgetoverd worden tot een soort markt, gethematiseerd als Arendelle, waar je onder andere snacks en merchandise kunt kopen.
* Er zal een Frozen scene aan de reguliere Disney Dreams toegevoegd worden.

Chaparral theater is behoorlijk groot toch? 1350 plaatsen vind ik op internet.

En ik weet dat de meet&greet niet was aangekondigd, ik had het alleen goed erbij vinden passen als je je hele seizoen Frozen-thema geeft, om dan ook een meet&greet te doen.
Maar persoonlijk vind ik het niet erg verder, want ik was er waarschijnlijk toch niet voor in de lange rij gaan staan.

"Let it go" this summer with Frozen at Disneyland® Paris


It's official: Disneyland® Paris will celebrate the 5th highest-grossing film ever this summer. Frozen, which has racked up more than 5 million ticket sales in France, will take centre stage from 1 June to 13 September 2015. The famous sisters, Anna and Elsa, will appear on stage with Olaf, their adorable snowman, in a spectacular event that will give guests chills!

New show: "Frozen Sing-along"
After catching a sneak peak of them in the famous Disneyland® Park Parade and meeting them to pose for pictures last Christmas, Disneyland Paris guests will be able to sing along with the stars of Frozen this summer! Enjoy this unique live experience with the heroes of the greatest Disney hit of all time.

Starting June 1st, the world of Frozen will appear in Frontierland in Disneyland Park, with a brand new show. An ice-themed musical production combining singing and dancing with guest participation. The famous sisters, Anna and Elsa, along with their faithful companions, Kristoff and Olaf the funny snowman, will take to the stage to bring the show to life and expand the unique experience of Frozen live. They'll be surrounded by dancers straight out of the Kingdom of Arendelle.

As the show begins, the villagers are preparing to celebrate the Arendelle winter festival. The intrepid Princess Anna appears and welcomes guests to the snowy universe of the Kingdom of Arendelle. She invites them to help her create a surprise for her sister, Elsa, asking them to join together as a choir. The show is a wonderful occasion to experience, relive and participate in the most beautiful musical moments of the greatest Disney success story of all time.


Olaf, renowned as the only snowman in the world capable of dreaming of heat and sunshine, will also join the party live on stage. To celebrate his longed-for summer, guests are encouraged to sing along, while he dreams innocently of sun tans and beaches!
Among the highlights is an emotionally charged performance of the unforgettable song "Let it go" by Elsa. [The French version of "Let it go" ("Libérée, Délivrée", sung by Anaïs Delva) has over 45 million hits on YouTube].

The show will take place several times a day, with live performances in French and English, with French and English subtitles on screen.

The two heroines of Frozen will appear at Disneyland Park every day, for two special events. On their frosty float, Princess Anna and Queen Elsa will star in "Disney Magic on Parade!" with Olaf. They will also cross the Park several times a day for a special carriage ride, "Frozen: A Royal Welcome", waving to the crowd from their royal carriage.

A special Frozen feature in Disney Dreams®!
Frozen is now part of the traditional version of Disney Dreams®!. A breath-taking night-time show with fountains and pyrotechnics, where famous Characters from the world of Disney come to life through projections onto Sleeping Beauty Castle.
"Disney Dreams®!" tells a magical and moving story. Guided by Peter Pan, guests discover, or re-discover, the greatest Disney stories, from Beauty and the Beast to Aladdin, not forgetting Rapunzel and many others.
Frozen is now part of this amazing night-time show, taking its place among Disney classics such as The Lion King and Peter Pan, as well as the unforgettable Parisian hits Ratatouille and The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
