Disney’s Art of Animation Resort Fun Facts

*Total property size: 87 acres

*The Nemo pool has 310,000 gallons and is the largest pool on Disney property, not counting water parks

*If you combined all the swimming pools, you could park 125 cars inside the pools

*For the first time ever at any Disney resort hotel, in-room décor pieces may be purchased at the gift shop. Ink & Paint Shop offers such items as the “Bruce” shower curtain or cozy cone lamps

*The flooring in Landscape of Flavors is made from all recyclable materials. And Guests will dine with real silverware on melamine, reusable dishware instead of paper and plastic

Net gelezen op Chip and Co:

Vandaal veroorzaakt schade aan Art Disney's Animation Resort
Volgens WFTV 9 werd er eerder deze week een deel van Disney's Art of Animation Resort beschadigd door vandalen. In het Cars-gedeelte, die onlangs opende (op 18 juni), werd er in één van de Cars-characters gekerfd alsook graffiti toegebracht. De schade is ondertussen al terug hersteld. De directie vermoedt dat een hotelgast verantwoordelijk is voor de schade.

In het volgende filmpje zie je een uitgebreide sneak peek van het Lion King gedeelte. Je kan er onder andere Rafiki, Mufasa, Scar, de hyena's, Simba, Pumbaa bewonderen en er wordt ook een kamer getoond. Voor mij is dit qua theming en zeker ook qua beplanting één van de mooiste van het nieuwe Resort!
