Ik ben nog altijd een groot fan van Boy Meets World.
Was dan ook dolgelukkig toen ik vorig jaar hoorde van Girl Meets World.
Ben héél erg benieuwd en ga het dan ook zeker kijken!
Ik vind het echt super dat Shawn en Mr. Feeney ook gastrollen krijgen!

Vanaf 1 April 2014 is Disney Channel NL te zien met dual audio channels Engels en Nederlands, athans in ieder geval bij Ziggo.
Bijna alle series en films zijn in originele uitvoering te zien, er zijn wel enkele uitzonderingen zo is Violetta alleen in Nederlands nagesynchroniseerde uitvoering te zien.
Nederlandse ondertitels zijn meestal te activeren via teletekstpagina 888!

Mooie verbetering vind ik!

Ik las dat de Dual Audio functie zich nog in de testfase bevond, ze kijken of alles bij alle partijen ook correct werkt.

Helaas bij UPC lukt het mij in ieder geval (nog) niet

Mijn ouders hebben UPC, en daar werkt het inderdaad nog niet.
Vreemd dat ze eerst bij Ziggo beginnen, bij UPC werdt Disney Channel immers het eerst doorgegeven.

Het went vaak wel redelijk vind ik, maar om nu zeggen dat het echt mijn voorkeur geniet.

The lion guard, sequel of the lion king!

(artikel is in het engels, wordt verteld dat Kion, zoon van Simba een eigen film/serie krijgt op disneychannel junior, kiara, simba en mufasa zullen ook in de serie verschijnen! De film zal verschijnen in de herfst 2015)


20 years ago, The Lion King roared to life in theatres. Disney Junior has now put a twist on this classic coming-of-age film with a new series for the next generation of audiences.

The Lion Guard will premiere in Fall 2015 as a television movie, with a subsequent series to debut in early 2016 on Disney Junior and Disney Channel. The story begins in the heart of the African savannah, as Kion, the second-born cub of Simba and Nala, assembles a team of his close friends to preserve the Pride Lands. The show will also include special appearances by Mufasa, Timon, Pumbaa, Rafiki, Zazu and Kion’s older sister, Kiara, the future Queen of the Pride Lands. The show will focus on conservation education, the importance of familyand community, while also highlighting creative problem-solving skills and diversity.




Consultants from the Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida will serve as advisors on The Lion Guard stories, while author and Swahili expert, Sarah Mirza, will serve as language and cultural advisor.

With the incredible success of The Lion King spanning across both film and stage, we are very excited to see what kind of adventures these new stories and characters will take us on. Hakuna Matata!

Weet nog niet zo goed wat ik er van moet vinden

Ik denk persoonlijk dat het de charme van de echte Lion king films wat wegneemt, aan dat pootje op zijn schouder te zien misschien ook wat kinderlijker, maar ik wacht effectief af tot ik het bekeken heb

(doet me denken aan kimba the white lion xD )

Disney Channel Jr, dus het zal wel erg kinderlijk zijn. Jammer, want ik vind een vervolg op The Lion King wel een gaaf idee
