The Lion King Soundtrack is Being Rereleased, with 30 Minutes of Unheard Score



Walt Disney Records just announced The Legacy Collection, a new line that will celebrate the anniversaries of Disney classics like The Lion King, Sleeping Beauty, and The Little Mermaid. The Lion King, now available for pre-order, is first on deck! The two-disc set will feature the original soundtrack, 30 minutes of unreleased score, and liner notes from the producer, Don Hahn, and Academy Award-winning composer, Hans Zimmer. We can’t wait!

Wow, aardige verzameling! Ik zag de CD Hal-lo-ween, moest meteen aan het liedje van toen denken: "It's Hal-o-ween o-ween everybody!"

Leuk om te zien dat er ook casettebandjes te koop waren vroeger.

Ik probeer altijd om op zo`n goedkope manier aan mijn disney muziek te komen. En dat is me aardig gelukt het afgelopen jaar.

Ik heb die van The Lion King.
Eerste item in jaren dat ik nog eens open doe, en wat een gedoe zeg, pfff, discs vallen er continue uit als ze al eens wil luisteren.
(reden waarom mijn 8-disc BD set nog steeds geseald is ook)
Australië heeft een gewoon doosje gekregen, had ik maar even gewacht met de US versie te bestellen.

Uiteindelijk niks nieuws, en ik denk de meeste echte Lion King fans ook wel de "bootlegs" hebben die ooit van de laserdisc gemaakt zijn, maar toch wel super dat het nu eindelijk op een officiële CD staat allemaal.

Hoe noemt dit liedje in de Disney-versie die ook in het park wordt gedraaid? Kan ik die ergens beluisteren/vinden?

het nummer komt 2 keer voor in de loop, 1 van 2:58 en een kortere van 0:54
nummer is alleen ingekort in de tweede versie.

Ik weet zelf niet meer juist welke versie het was. Dat was toen ter hoogte van de uitgang van Peter Pan. Ik heb het daarna ook nooit meer terug gehoord. Ik kwam het nu toevallig tegen op internet en vraag er hier eens naar. Super dus dat je dat zo snel weet zeg!
