Today, for the first time ever, both Magic Kingdom Park and Disneyland park are staying open for 24 hours for an extra day of magic called “One More Disney Day.” And to kick things off, we’ve created a special splitscreen video for Disney Parks Blog readers called, “A Tale of Two Parks.” It’s 24 hours of memories at both parks for Leap Day.

Het was echt een geslaagd evenement !!! met HEEEEEL veel volk

Disneyland Resort heeft de eerste 3 maand van dit jaar een record aantal bezoekers gekregen! Dit door o.a. de One More Disney Day waarbij de parken 24uur lang open bleven en de populaire voorjaarsvakantie.
Alle Amerikaanse parken samen kregen gemiddeld 7 percent meer bezoekers in de eerste drie maand van het jaar.

Ook waren er meer hotelovernachtingen en deze gasten betaalden meer uit om te overnachten. Er is vooral een toename van internationale reizigers.

De komende maanden zullen ook positief zijn verwacht men door de opening van Carsland op 15 juni.

Er wordt ook gewerkt aan Marvel elementen voor de parken. Er is voor het moment een hoge vraag naar Marvel producten onder meer door de populariteit van The Avengers.
