Space Mountain

It's been a while but I'am back with an Disneyland Paris update. When you are reading this Space Mountain just reopened not much has changed for the guests, but the technology of the attraction is completely overhauled ready for another 10 years. January 2017 they will close Space Mountain again for the new trains which are ready to be installed for over 5 years now. But thats not all they are launching Space Mountain on a third mission. The Canon effect is like the Yeti in Expedition Everest very hard too repair but during the 25th celebration it should be back. So far Space Mountain.

Disneyland Park

In June Euro Disney announced an ambitious refurbishment plan to bring Disneyland Paris back in its old glory. With most of Frontierland closed during 2016 they will keep the Frozen Sing-Along from Christmas '15 till Christmas '16 with in the low season 2 French and 2 English showings a day. Its very popular people eater so thats good news. A big absence on the refurbishment list is of course Phantom Manor this is because they currently don't know what to do with it. A big refresh is planned after the Celebration. Geysers will be fixed but after 2017. Mark Twain will be scraped because all the wood is rotten. For Fantasyland there are no big realistic rumors on new attractions ,next week it's a small world will close for an extensive refresh. During the six months the show building gets a new color scheme and some of the dolls get new costumes. Also around 30 Disney figures will be added(Like in California) For the Princess Pavilion they work on an backstage entrance for the princesses. Starbucks will be added to Mainstreet in Market house.

New Adventureland attraction

It's never been a secret that Tom Wolber wants to add an attraction to Adventureland. We heard rumors about Indiana Jones from Tokyo, mystic manor, Soarin and the Water attraction from California Adventure. All would be carbon copies. This month it was announced that famous imagineer Joe Rohde would get the Marvel portfolio. In Japan and Orlando they can't use Marvel because of Universal. In Disneyland California there is not enough space and Hong Kong is already getting a Marvel attraction next year. So that leaves Paris to use this property. There are long time rumors that Marvel will take the backlot area. This is true, but there is one property that wouldn't fit there The Guardians of the Galaxy James Gunn last year film which will get a Sequel in 2017 the year Disneyland Paris wants to open this new attraction. Then the movie can lean on the new attraction and the other way around. So an Guardians of the Galaxy attraction makes sense. A new adventureland attraction is 100% going to happen in 2017/2018.

Star Wars Land

This is not an easy one, we currently know that during d23 Star Wars presence in the Parks will be announced but we don't know of this includes Disneyland Paris. What we know is that the Jedi academy and the Star Tours update are just the start of Star Wars in Disneyland Paris.....

Walt Disney Studios Park

A park that opened with out an iconic Disney Dark-Ride, a park that never deserved to be named after an legend as Walt was. But every year it is showing more and more potential. Toy Story Land gave the park finely some kiddie rides in an well themed area. Ratatouille has long lines since day one and is the best Dark Ride of the entire resort. As announced studio 3 will get a new show in 2016. This will be a Pixar show because the entire Toon Studio will be re-themed to Pixar. Then the only not Pixar thing in the area is the Toon Town Meet n Greet. This one will be removed and there will be build a Quick-Service restaurant themed after Flo's V8 cafe from the Cars movie this will open before 2017. In the mean time construction workers are already busy with building Toy Story Midway Mania set to open spring 2018. Because of popular demand it will open with 3 tracks 1 fast pass and 2 stand by. And that also marks the completion of Pixar Studio. Moving to Hollywood Studios which will be the entrance, production courtyard and Hollywood Blvd which will be created between the entrance of the Tram Tour and Studio 1. Hollywood Blvd will include restaurants, shops and a Starbucks. Restaurant des Stars and Art of Animation will be integrated in the new street. The tram tour its self will add new magic in 2016 and will reopen right before the 25th anniversary. The whole Hollywood Studio are should be re-themed by 2018. Then there is as I previous told you the Marvel Studio. It will occupy the current Backlot. All attractions will be re-themed and Armageddon will close. The Rock n Roller Coaster will be re-themed to Spider Man soaring next to the New York Skyscrapers. The new stunt show will be themed after Captain America. This is all set to open by 2019. Iron Man will get in 2020 a ride on the current location of Armageddon. To celebrate the 20 anniversary of the park an Avengers e-ticket should complete the expansion. And there will be an meet n greet.

Food

The chefs already started with brining more quality and choice to the menu's. Last month it was announced that California Grill would get an new menu. And that Walt's was next on the list. Also the Buffets get new menu's. By 2017 there should be more choice and quality at the restaurants. Also a new table service restaurant will be build in Adventureland.

Hotel's and Disney Village

The refreshment at NPBC is well underway and the new rooms look fabulous. This year the work on Cheyenne will start. The new rooms will get a Toy Story finish and new bedding. Work will befinished before 2017. A new masterplan for the is currently in the making at WDI. Expect no start on the project before 2018.

Swing Into Spring 2016

This years edition was a great success. Both shows were quite popular and the Gardens looked beautiful. Every year they will try to bring it to a higher level and next year that will be in the form of a Disney Dreams pre show with a spring flavor. A cavalcade is also an idea but due to all refurbishments there is currently no budget.

Around 2017 they could start with implementing the system. They start with WDSP.

A new update will arrive as soon when i'am back from holiday, in this update we will focus on the 25th anniversary.

of zijn dit ook nog geruchten?
Andere geruchten zouden zijn dat Aerosmith een spiderman overlay krijgt (zou meet en greet locatie wel verklaren), TOT guardians of the galaxy overlay. Vraag me af wat ze met armageddon gaan doen, Heb deze attractie zelf al lang niet meer gedaan (niet echt een favoriet), deze kan zeker wel een upgrade gebruiken.)
