Het volgende las ik op Disney Central Plaza:

La ville de Shanghai a fait récemment deux annonces importantes concernant le futur Resort Disney qui ouvrira en 2015: tout d'abord le parc de type Magic Kingdom disposera de sa propre station de métro souterraine. Mais plus important, il ne s'agira que de la première phase d'un projet qui devrait comporter à terme 3 parcs différents. Les thèmes à l'étude sont des variations d'Epcot et d'Animal Kingdom

Wordt er een 2e en 3e park als Epcot en Animal Kingdom gebouwd? Mijn frans is niet zo best, maar dat haal ik er toch uit geloof ik

ben benieuwd, dan maar wachten totdat shanghai opengaat en over een jaar of 5/6 een trip maken naar hongkong-shanghai-tokyo

Wat is er tot nu toe al geweten over Shanghai Disneyland? Enkele feitjes op een rij!

Goedkeuring
Na jaren lange geruchten werd op 4 november 2009 het project goedgekeurd door de Chinese overheid. Shanghai Disneyland zal het tweede Disney resort zijn op Chinese bodem en het eerste op Chinese vasteland. In het Pudong district zijn boerderijen en woonwijken moeten wijken voor het project, waarbij alle inwoners op kosten van de overheid verhuisd zijn en een nieuwe woonst gekregen hebben.

Volgens geruchten en schattingen in de media zal het hele resort 4 km² bedragen en een kostenplaatje hebben van bijna 3 miljard euro. De financiering zou komen van een joint-venture met de Shanghaise overheid en The Walt Disney Company.

3 Parken
In de Shanghai Daily verklapten stadsmedewerkers dat er mogelijk 3 parken gebouwd zullen worden in de toekomst: Magic Kingdom, Epcot en Animal Kingdom, naar het voorbeeld van Walt Disney World. Als het resort opent in 2013 zullen er ook 2 Disney hotels zijn, dit werd bevestigd door een job advertentie in de regio.

Meer details over theming en andere zijn nog niet beschikbaar, wel zou het hele resort omringd worden door hoge kunstmatige heuvels en een rivier. Een Downtown Disney shopping en restaurant zone, dat schaamteloos achterwege werd gelaten in Hong Kong Disneyland, zou er vanaf dag 1 bijhoren.

An official blueprint of the Shanghai Disneyland Resort has been made public, showing how the resort's theme park, hotels and other amenities will be laid out.

The map, shown below, does not give away any further details on which rides and attractions will be present in the resort's first theme park, Shanghai Disneyland. However, it does appear to indicate that the resort will feature four hotels, at least one of which is likely to offer views over the theme park. Previously, only two hotels had been confirmed via a Disney job advertisement.

The plans also refer to "commercial facilities", which could indicate a Downtown Disney-style retail and entertainment area. The empty area next to the first theme park (in the top-right of the plan) is highly likely to be home to the resort's second gate, which it is rumored will be a version of Epcot or Animal Kingdom from Walt Disney World.

As previously revealed, a new Metro line will be constructed to transport guests to and from the Shanghai Disneyland Resort when it opens. However, the plan shows that rather than a single, 9.2 kilometre line as previously reported, two separate metro lines will coverage at the resort. Line 11 will open during the project's first phase by 2015, with Line 2 being added later. Both will terminate at Disneyland Station.

Water is set to feature heavily in the Shanghai Disneyland Resort, as shown in the only concept art released to date (above). The entire resort will be surrounded by a 60-metre-wide river, which will be around 10 kilometres in length. In addition, a central lake covering some 96 acres is already under construction at a cost of $41.5 million.

Construction on Shanghai Disneyland is set to begin in May, with the new resort due to open to the public in 2015. Work has already begun to build some elements of the resort, including access roads and the lake. As with its previous overseas resorts in Tokyo, Paris and Hong Kong, Disney has secured a local partner to help fund the Shanghai resort. It is set to be majority-owned by the Chinese government, which will take a 57% stake.

The resort will be Disney's fourth outside of the US, after Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland. The Shanghai Disneyland park is expected to attract 7.3 million visitors a year.

There will be an initial investment in the project of approximately 24.5 billion yuan (US$3.7 billion) to build the theme park and an additional 4.5 billion yuan (US$0.7 billion) to build the other aspects of the resort, including the hotels and the retail, dining and entertainment area. The investment amounts will be split between Disney and the Shanghai Shendi Group with Disney holding 43% of the shares of the owner companies and the Shanghai Shendi Group holding the remaining 57%. Financing will be proportional to ownership. In addition, a joint venture management company will be formed with Disney having a 70% stake and Shanghai Shendi Group having a 30% stake. The management company will be responsible for creating, developing and operating the resort.

Ziet er echt heel leuk uit, het kasteel. Het wordt iets helemaal anders dan we al gewoon zijn. Het ziet eruit als het echte middelpunt van het park. Prima hoor !!

ADVENTURELAND: Op deze foto's is er the zien dat er een Pirate's of the Caribbean komt in een nieuwe vesie waarschijnlijk. Deze versie zal naar verluid gebaseerd worden op de films en niet op de attracties. Zo word er ook gesproken over een nieuw systeem met een magnetische lijn waar de boten aan zullen zitten hierdoor zullen de boten verschildende snelheden kunnen aannemen maar ook ronddraaien of achteruit gaan. Zal deze misschien dan ook naar HKDL gaan??? Naast deze attractie word er ook gesproken over een stunt show van Pirate's of the caribbean te vergelijken met 'Indiana Jones ' in de DHS. Zo zal er ook een nieuwe attractie komen 'Lost World River Rapids ' dit is te vergelijken met 'Grizzly River Run' en 'Universal's Jurassic Park River Daventure' alleen zal deze attractie zijn eigen thema krijgen. Het gehele park krijgt veel invloeden uit de chineese cultuur en geschiedenis. Deze attractie krijgt uit het oude china het thema met dinosauriers. Naast al deze dingen is er ook nog de nieuwe attractie 'Man in the Had' over deze attractie is nog niet veel bekend.

FANTASYLAND: Zo weten we al over Fantasyland dat er voor het kasteel een tuin zal komen met daarin 'Dumbo the Flying Elephant' maar er word ook gesproken over dat alleen 'Peter Pan Flight', 'The Many Adventure's of Winnie the Pooh' en misschien 'The Mine of the Seven Dwars' (WDW NEW ATTRACTION) zullen verschijnen in Fantasyland. Welke versie van Winnie the Pooh het zal gaan worden word niet bekend gemaakt.

TOMORROWLAND: Zo word er ook vertelt dat Tomorrowland aan de linkerkant van het kasteel zal liggen. En Spacemountain zal niet zijn intrek nemen in dit 6e Magic Kindom park maar zal vervangen worden door een geheel nieuwe attractie rondom de film TRON. Zo word er gesproken over dat de makers van de atractie Vekoma Motobike System zullen zijn.

Zo zal er geen Frontierland komen maar wel enkele attracties uit dit gebied zo zal er een variatie van 'Jungle Cruise' komen en een variatie op 'The Haunted Mainsion' en 'Mistic Point' maar van desing zal wel WDI worden.


Ook word hier duidelijk gemaakt waarom er zo weinig informatie naar buiten komt dit heeft te maken met het geval dat er in China nog enkele andere pretparken gebouwd worden die sommige eerder zullen openen. Disney wil daarom niet het risico lopen geweldige nieuwe ideen prijs te geven zodat deze gebruikt kunnen worden door andere parken.

Eindelijk is er weer wat meer informatie over Shanghai Disneyland.
Zo is er al bekend een deel van de attracties in het park.(het is niet bevestigd of dit ook klopt)

Fantasyland:

Zo zal in dit plan het er naar uit zien dat de Tea Cups worden ingeruild voor Honing potjes van Winnie the Pooh.De Winnie the Pooh dark ride zal de versie worden uit HKDL en niet TDL. Fantasyland lijkt tot nu toe bij opening het meest compleete land te gaan worden. Zo zal de Carousel het thema krijgen van Fantasia en zal er ook een Alice in Wonderland tuin komen.

Adventureland:

-Pirates of the Caribbean Water Ride
-Pirate Stunt Show

De Pirate Stunt Show zal waarschijnlijk gebaseerd worden op de Pirate Stunt Show die voor DLP en WDS bedacht zijn maar nooit gebouwd zijn. Lost World River Rapids zal een attractie zijn met dinosauriërs.Ook word er nog gesproken over "Sunken Treasure" maar wat dit zal zijn is alleen voor WDI nog bekend.

Zo zal de versie van Pirates of the Caribbean de versie zijn die ontworpen is voor HKDL maar nu is er ook hier weer een maar bij er zullen minder audio animatronics zijn bij de opening van de attractie en ze gaan gebruik maken van projecties.

Tommorowland:
-TRON Indoor Rollercoaster
-Astro Orbitor / Rockets Ride

De Tron attractie is naar waarschijnlijk al zeker maar Astro Orbitor nog niet. Zo word er ook gesproken over Stitch Encounter de versie die in HKDL en WDS ook te vinden is. Naast deze attracties word er gesproken over Buzz Lightyear Astro Blaster maar niet zoals we hem kennen het zal een nieuwe versie zijn die gebruik maakt van 2D decor en projecties afgeleid uit Toy Story Mania.

Dit is even wat er momenteel bekend is maar we zullen voor de definitieve plannen toch nog 3 jaar moeten wachten voor het helemaal af is en we het zeker weten. Want SHD is een project van vele puzzel stukjes die heel langzaam gevonden worden.

Construction of Shanghai Disney Resort speeding ahead

SHANGHAI - Builders will soon start constructing the infrastructure of the much-anticipated Shanghai Disney Resort, after preparations on the ground formation work were completed, attendees of a ceremony held at the site on Thursday were told.
Bill Ernest, president and managing director of Disney Parks and Resort Asia, praised the ground work by the project's Chinese partner -- Shanghai Shendi Group -- and the support from the Shanghai municipal government, at the build site hand-over event.
"We are incredibly excited to begin building the resort and to develop a world-class family vacation destination in Shanghai," he said.
Ernest promised construction of hotels will start later this year, with developers studying Chinese culture in order to add local elements to Disney's latest attraction.
"We are talking a lot about 'authentic Disney, unique Chinese.' We are really working hard to incorporate it in the overall design story," he said.
The Disney chief disclosed that Shanghai Disneyland is likely to celebrate local events like Mid-Autumn Festival. Visitors will also see food, snacks and souvenirs with local elements in the park.
Intended to open at the end of 2015, the resort will initially be comprised of Shanghai Disneyland, a Magic-Kingdom-style park as well as two themed hotels, a large retail, dining and entertainment venue, recreational facilities, a lake and parking and transportation hubs.
Covering an area of 1.16 square km, the theme park inside the 3.9-sq-km Shanghai Disney Resort will be the world's sixth Disney amusement park and the first on the Chinese mainland. It will also be the third of its kind in Asia, after the company's theme parks in Tokyo and Hong Kong.
During preparation work over the past year, the Shendi Group adopted cutting-edge vacuum preloading technology to level and consolidate the ground formation to prevent it from subsiding in the coastal site.
Howard Brown, senior vice president overseeing development of the Shanghai Disney Resort, said the soil formation project is the largest ever undertaken anywhere.
Builders are now working on road network construction, as well as the site's central lake and perimeter canal.
The ground-breaking of the Shanghai Disney Resort project started on April 8 last year. Robert Iger, president and CEO of the Walt Disney Company, has promised the park's signature castle will be the biggest and tallest of all those in the world's Disney theme parks.
The resort is a joint venture between the Walt Disney Co and Shanghai Shendi Group, with Shendi holding 57 percent of the shares and Disney the remaining 43 percent.
