Vanaf vandaag is Agrabah Café restaurant in Adventureland - Disneyland Paris​ terug open!

REOPENING OF AGRABAH CAFÉ RESTAURANT : WHAT HAS CHANGED ?



On July 31, the Agrabah Café restaurant reopened in Adventureland after four and a half months of refurbishment for an even more immersive experience. Besides the main dining rooms, extensive work has also taken place behind the scenes to improve efficiency and Cast Members working conditions.

A legendary restaurant

Located in the old Adventureland Bazaar, this buffet-style restaurant delights the taste buds as much as the eyes of the visitors, inviting them to a journey into the world of Aladdin and Arabian Nights. The restaurant offers dining rooms with different atmospheres for a change of scenery that Scheherazade would surely have appreciated.

In 1992 these rooms existed as shops where visitors could get lost and purchase oriental products. Today, they retain their original names like La Reine des Serpents or the Echoppe d’ Aladin (with a single “D” for the Disney film Aladdin was released only in 1993), as well as a large part of their decoration, creating a unique atmosphere greatly appreciated by the guests.

Enhanced dining experience

The refurbishment works were carried out by the FAM Construction and Engineering department, with the participation of twenty-eight third party companies. During this period, the decorations such as the oriental-inspired fountains received a new coat of paint. Copper dishes, spice jars or draperies have regained their former glory alongside new additions. The mats have also been reworked in our workshops before joining the walls of the restaurant. The Central Shop teams have benefited from the structual work at the restaurant to carry touch-ups on the countless details that enhance the scenery of the visitors.

To optimize the service in peak times, a second buffet line was created offering visitors a selection of Moroccan and Middle East-inspired dishes, including the very popular oriental pastries. The resin floor was renovated in front and behind the counter as well as the walls. All desk accessories and LED projectors were replaced. New furniture was also installed, such as a microwave oven and an additional console in the dining room.

Adjustments backstage

Behind the scenes, a local beverage distributor was added to facilitate the work of the teams. The kitchen has been completely redone and widened by two meters by taking some of the commodity reserves. The walls have been exposed and dressed again with the materials required by an industrial kitchen. Plumbing, electricity, hoods, air exchange, kitchen equipment such as ovens and hob, large cold storage, soil and runoff, false ceilings and doors were replaced. Electric equipment of the two cases has been replaced and they have been thémées to blend perfectly into the background.

This project was made possible through a constant partnership between FAM and Food teams, Kitchen and Utilities maintenances. A true synergy of teams to the service of the guest experience, and improved working conditions for the Cast Members !

Bij ons laatste bezoek gingen we eten in het vernieuwde AGRABAH CAFÉ RESTAURANT in Adventureland.
De prijs was 29.49 euro per persoon en 16.49 euro per kind.
Het is een meer zuiders buffet met gekruid eten, past hier totaal in het plaatje en is een keer wat anders dan hamburgers en friet. Voor de niet liefhebbers is er nog altijd Plaza Gardens.
Je kan er bv. zelf je eigen pitta broodje maken!

Zo te zien niet veel anders dan het voorheen was. Kom er altijd graag, ik hou wel van dit eten.

Colonel Hathi's is dicht volgens de disney site, weet er iemand hier wanneer deze terug gaat open gaan? want daarover vermelden ze niet echt iets..

Ik ga in oktober voor het eerst eten bij het Agrabah Café restaurant. Als ik het zo lees ben ik blij dat ik gerserveerd heb.

wij zijn er vorig jaar wezen eten vond het toen erg tegen vallen

Ik vind het eten er altijd erg lekker.

Is het erg pittig eten of is zijn er ooo voldoende gerechten voor als je hier niet van houd?

Nee ik kan helemaal niet tegen pittig eten en daar heb ik hier nooit last van.

voor zover ik weet is dit geen buffet restaurant !

Je kan wel buffet eten bij het Agrabah Café .
En hier hebben ze alvast wel een kinder buffet .
