Duffy nieuws uit Epcot!
Duffy merchandise proves to be extremely popular - purchase limits coming into effect
Remember back when Duffy arrived stateside in late 2010? A lot of Internet discussion centered around Duffy being a short-lived craze that would not gain any real traction. Well, here we are in 2012, and Duffy is still going strong with both merchandising and his meet and greet location in Epcot's World Showcase.
In fact, Disney has now been forced to introduce a Duffy merchandise sales cap on all Duffy merchandise being sold in the parks and online. Guests will now be restricted to a maximum of 5 same-item Duffy purchases. This means that at anytime, guests can only purchase up to 5 of one item with the same SKU.
A similar scheme has already been in place at Tokyo Disneyland, where the limit is 3 items. The new sales-cap begins this Sunday, May 6 2012.

Terug nieuwe Duffy outfits voor de VS
Ze hebben Brazilie gekozen omdat dit een land is dat niet vertegenwoordigd is op de World Schowcase in Epcot.
Er komt ook een 12-inch Duffy voor het Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.
Er komt ook een pin voor het festival en nog 2 andere pins voor het kerst seizoen.

Volgens InsideDLParis is Duffy even op vakantie, en keert hij pas terug in oktober voor het Halloweenseizoen.

Ondanks het feit dat Duffy voor Halloween niet teruggekeerd is aan zijn Boarding House, proberen ze hem toch nog via wat andere dingen te promoten.

Waarom vinden we deze outfits niet terug bij ons? Ze zijn zoooooo leuk!
Het laatste is trouwens een koffertje met een pyjama, slaapmuts, slippers en een kussentje. Op het kussentje zien we trouwens Tippy Blue. Dat is een character die voor het eerst te zien was in the American Waterfront in Tokyo Disneyland, en nu dus voor de eerste keer te zien is op de Amerikaanse Duffy merchandise.
Helaas zijn deze outfits (voorlopig) enkel te koop in de Amerikaanse parken.

Naast een nieuwe knuffel is nu ook het boekje, waarin het ontstaan van Duffy wordt uitgelegd, te verkrijgen in Disneyland Parijs (zowel de Franse als de Engelse versie).

Waarom maken ze toch altijd de kleine Duffy met speciale outfits en geen outfits uit dezelfde reeks voor de grote Duffy? Manmanman
