11 april 1992, de vooravond op de officiële opening van Euro Disney (persevent)
De video die je hier boven kan bekijken toont de beelden van de officiële openingsceremonie van Euro Disney (aanrader!). Enkele gelukkige gasten (waaronder honderden journalisten, hooggeplaatste mensen en speciale VIP's) konden op 11 april al genieten van een eerste gratis bezoek aan de plaats die binnenkort de grootste toeristische trekpleister van Europa zou worden.
Drie magische dagen
De gasten ontvingen een 3-delige uitnodiging voor 3 dagen: 10,11 en 12 april.
"Celebrate! The real land of make-believe in the heart of Europe. Dedicated to the imagination and wonder of people everywhere. You and a guest are cordially invited to be the very first to enjoy the magic of a dream-come-true: The Euro Disney Resort, Marne-la-Vallée, France.”

Op deze dag werden 5 Disney hotels:Hotel New York, New Port Bay Club, Sequoia Lodge, Hotel Cheyenne, Hotel Santa Fé feestelijk geopend samen met Disney village ( toen nog Festival Disney) en de Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show .

Op deze dag werd het Disneyland hotel ingewijd met een grootse ceremonie. Disneyland Paris was het eerste park met een hotel aan de ingang.
Nadien gingen de festiviteiten verder in het Disneyland park met het persevent. Bekijk hieronder de uitnodiging.

Na de officiële opening in de nacht van 11 op 12 april door Michael Eisner (voormalig CEO van The Walt Disney Company) ging het park stipt open om 9u01.
